One of the things that used to drive me crazy is when people would tell me, “don’t focus on the money…..focus on your passion.” This never made much sense to me. How was passion supposed to pay the rent, or buy groceries, or pay the car note?
The mortgage is due, you’re not making enough money and someone says, “just focus on your life mission.” I don’t know about you, but this made me want to slap the sh*t out of the person that told me this. I think this is why there is a huge disconnect between metaphysical gurus and the people they are trying to help.
The disconnect comes because we don’t understand the ‘WHY’ behind this statement. When you are in fear of paying the bills, it brings your level of consciousness into a lower frequency level. Think of it as a form of fear hypnosis. While you are in this hypnosis, the more you focus on money, the more you cement that lower frequency of fear.
This creates a quicksand type of reality, where the more you struggle, the more you sink and get pulled into the quicksand. When someone tells you to stop struggling it seems counterintuitive, but that is only because of your current level of perception.
